FULL DAY IN ROYAL GOLF OF RABAT

Golf has become a national passion in Morocco. It was introduced at the beginning of the century. This game is played in Rabat amid ancient Oaks in Dar es Salam remains a good destination to all golfers from all over the word.

As indicated above, Dar Es Salam is three course designed by Robert Trent Jones. All the courses were laid, out with imagination and flair.

The Red course: 18 holes 6702 m par 73.

Each year, Hassan II trophy is fought. Scoring less than 70 here is something few professionals manage to achieve. The trees alongside the fairways and the cumingly set bunkers make accurate driving essential. The water is another feature with the 172 meters hole nine played over the heads of the water lilies to the green placed on a small is land and hole 12 restricted too by this element. The reflection of a series of Roman columns originally from Volubilis must not be allowed to distract.

The bleu course: 18 holes 6205 m par 72

It’s colorful with beds and bank of cultivated and wild flowers in season. There are water features and clumps of majestic eucalyptus trees. Those 18 holes per 72 seem to be more accessible than the red course. However, this Blue Course is a course that can not be taken for granted.

The green course: 9 holes 2170m par 32.

The green course is the most relaxed, described as a course to entertain with holes of only par 3 and par 4.
